Pump Truck Maintenance Specifications
Jun. 26, 2026
Pre-construction Daily Inspection Items
Check hydraulic oil level. Qualified hydraulic oil shall be pale yellow and transparent without emulsification or turbidity; replace oil immediately if abnormal.
Fully fill all grease fittings with lubricating grease; top up clean water for both main water tank and auxiliary water tank.
Inspect wear conditions of cutting ring and spectacle plate. Replace them at once if severely worn. Check concrete piston for intact sealing to prevent mortar seepage into the water tank.
Verify normal operation of the lubrication system. The indicator rod of progressive distributor shall reciprocate visibly, and lubricant shall overflow from S-tube swing arm bearings and mixing shaft bearings.
Check the vacuum gauge on the main pump oil suction filter; readings shall stay within the green zone (no more than 0.035 MPa).
Inspect the entire hydraulic system for oil leakage or seepage.
Tap concrete delivery pipes to check wear loss; confirm all pipe joints are tightly sealed.

Chassis Maintenance
Engine: Replace engine oil, oil filter and fine diesel filter after the first 50 working hours; clean coarse diesel filter and air filter at the same time. Repeat the oil change cycle every 250 working hours thereafter. When replenishing oil daily, only add engine oil of the same specified grade.
Check engine oil level every 10 working hours (or daily) during operation; replenish oil promptly if insufficient.
PTO transfer case: Replace gear oil after the first 200 working hours, then every 1000 working hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Refill grease for PTO bearings every 1000 working hours.
Pumping Unit Maintenance
Check hydraulic oil quality and level every 8 working hours; top up or replace oil as required. New hydraulic oil added must match the grade of existing oil in the tank. The factory-filled hydraulic oil is Esso H46. Complete full oil change after pumping 20,000 cubic meters of concrete or every 6 months. Clean the oil tank and drain residual oil from all cylinders during oil replacement.
Check lubricant level every 8 working hours. Non-extreme pressure semi-fluid lithium grease is recommended. Lubricant shall overflow from concrete cylinder water tank connections, S-tube upper/lower bearing seats and mixing end housings during pumping.
Adjust the clearance between spectacle plate and cutting ring after pumping 3,000 cubic meters of concrete; replace severely worn components immediately. Ensure concrete piston sealing prevents mortar leakage into the water tank.
Inspect wear of S-tube and S-tube bearings after 500 working hours; replace shaft sleeve and taper sleeve if necessary.
Monitor the vacuum gauge of oil suction filter. Replace filter element once the pointer enters the red zone (over 0.04 MPa).
Perform full system inspection before startup: verify normal system pressure and check hydraulic system for fluid leakage.
Superstructure (Boom & Outrigger) Maintenance
Slewing reducer gear oil: Full replacement required after the first 100 working hours, then every 1000 working hours or every 6 months. Recommended oil: Nanhai 85W-90 heavy-duty gear oil, filling volume: 8 liters.
Lubricate all boom hinges, outrigger articulations, slewing large ring gear bearings and reducer shaft end grease nipples every 60 working hours with No.3 calcium-based grease.
Adopt delivery pipes with correct diameter and wall thickness, matched pipe clamps and safety locks to reduce pumping risks and malfunctions.
Rotate delivery pipes regularly for even wear and extended service life: Rotate straight pipes clockwise by 120° and elbow pipes by 180° after pumping around 5,000 cubic meters of concrete.
Thoroughly inspect all welds on slewing platform, boom and outriggers after long-term operation. Contact our company immediately for professional repair if weld cracking is found.
Complete full washing of the whole pump truck after each pumping job; no residual concrete is allowed inside delivery pipes.
