Ladder trucks are also known as ladder handling trucks, high-altitude transport trucks, ladder loading trucks and ladder moving trucks. They have a wide range of applications, mainly used by moving companies, for engineering leasing, transporting waterproof materials to upper floors, solar panel installation, advertising high installation, power maintenance, air conditioner installation, cement handling, sand and gravel handling, building material transportation to upper floors, construction waste removal, road and bridge maintenance, monitoring installation, transporting boards and ceramic tiles to upper floors, floor waterproofing, insulation layer maintenance, exterior wall waterproofing, and moving large items to upper floors, among others.
As a type of aerial work vehicle, ladder trucks have emerged as a new industry growth driver thanks to their advantages such as high safety factor, high cost performance and reduced labor costs. Statistics show that the average annual compound growth rate of China's aerial work platform market has reached as high as 50% in the past five years. Meanwhile, the man-machine ratio of aerial work platforms in China stands at 555:1, compared with 11:1 in the United States and 32:1 in Europe. This also indicates huge development potential for the domestic ladder truck market.
